about

… About my expedition in the mountains of northern Mesopotamia and how I discovered the city beneath the glacier, where Sumerian refugees had settled down, fleeing from the Flood. Believe me! I encountered these albino survivors of a lost race, lazing around in their kingdom underground. I trembled with fear at the sight of their humanoid mole slaves, harvesting mushrooms in fathomless caves. I witnessed the ritual killing of elders in the name of Inanna and was told this happened whenever overpopulation threatened. Because of my flashlight, I was first greeted as a messenger of goddess Inanna, but it didn’t last. I met a girl with Caucasian skin, only non-albino in the realm, disdained by all since she had the “mark of darkness.” Together we experienced the cruelty and treacherous ways of the High Priest. Together we encouraged the mole people to rebel - after all, despite their horrible features, they were only victims - and we were sent to the Eye of Inanna to be sacrificed to the unmerciful goddess. Yet, the Eye was only natural light from the surface and that’s how I escaped… alone, since an earthquake took the life of my loved one and destroyed the city beneath the glacier. I often think about the mole people and how they still live – at least I hope so - in the deepest caves of our hollow Earth...
